Speeches
Generally, the best man acts as the toastmaster, and prepares a list of the order in which each person will make a toast. There is an established protocol which the couple may or may not choose to follow.
Microphones: You want the toast to be heard by all, so be sure to check with the reception hall regarding availability of a microphone for speeches. Also check with your musicians as they may provide this for you provided they are setup when it time to give the speeches.
Special Considerations: Be sure the person giving the toast can be seen by all. Use a stage or open area that is visible to all your guests.
